The Ohio State football team has had a comfortable start to the 2025 college football season. After winning the national championship last season, they have started with two straight games at home. This weekend, they will get a third, this time played under the lights.

In each of the first two games, the Ohio State Buckeyes have been able to come up victorious. They beat Texas 14-7 in the opener and blew out Grambling State 70-0 last Saturday. The offense was clicking so well that Julian Sayin was even able to set a record in the first half.

The Bobcats come in for the first time in 15 years. It's a game that the Buckeyes should be able to win, barring any unforeseen circumstances. That includes the weather, which has not been a factor at all in any of the games they have played so far. Will that be the case again on Saturday night?

Weather forecast for Ohio State football vs. Ohio

The weather should be perfect on Saturday night. According to the Weather Channel, the temperature will be 75 degrees when these two teams kick off at 7:30 pm ET. When the game ends, it will be about 68 degrees. That shouldn't force either team to have an issue with cramping.

Wind won't be a problem at all, either. The wind will be blowing 2-6 mph throughout the contest, only gusting to about 10 mph during certain times of the game. Simply put, the wind should not affect the passing game or the kicking game at all in this game.

The Buckeyes should have no excuses for not winning this game in blowout fashion, similarly to how they were able to take down Grambling State. Both the offense and the defense should be able to have good games without the weather affecting them one bit.
