So far this season, the Ohio State football team has looked unstoppable. They haven't allowed a single team to score in double-digits, and they have had stretches where they look dominant offensively, too. They are coming off a 24-6 victory over Washington.
This weekend, the Buckeyes will be taking on Minnesota in a night game. It will be the second home night game of the season. So far this season, the Buckeyes have played in every different time slot possible, and it hasn't affected them. They have adapted well.
The weather has not been an issue for them up to this point, either. Every game has had picture-perfect weather. Now that it's October, the weather could start to turn. Will the weather continue to be nice when the Golden Gophers come to town on Saturday night?
Ohio State football vs. Minnesota weather forecast
According to the Weather Channel, there should be no issues with the forecast for Saturday night. At kickoff, it will be 72 degrees. By the time the game ends, the temperature will drop to 63 degrees, but it will still be clear. There is no chance of precipitation for the game.
The wind will not be a factor at all, either. It will be blowing 3-6 mph throughout the contest, with gusts up to 10 mph. That means that neither the kicking game nor the passing game will be affected by outside forces. The Ohio State Buckeyes should be able to execute without an issue.
Minnesota would have had a better chance to pull an upset if the weather had been poor. The Buckeyes are too talented to be stopped by a team like the Golden Gophers without some luck being involved. The weather could have been a good equalizer for them.
The streak of great weather for the Buckeyes continues. How long that will last remains to be seen. Ohio State should appreciate it while they can.
