Grambling State's head coach wasn't mincing words when he spoke about what the outcome of his team's matchup against Ohio State would be this weekend.

Apparently, Grambling State has a pretty good band according to their head coach, Mickey Joseph. When talking to the media this week, Joseph was asked about the team's match-up against the Ohio State Buckeyes, and his response had the reporters laughing.

"They've got a great band and we've got a great band," Joseph said. "We're going to compete as a band."

Joseph was simply just trying to make light of this matchup because, as he carries on, he admitted that he and his team know what they are getting into. When it comes to the comparison of Ohio State and Grambling State, there is no doubt who has the absolute edge in this game, and it even comes down to the number of scholarships that each school can give out.

Joseph knows that sitting up there talking about how Grambling State is going to come in and give Ohio State a run for its money is just trying to have a look for the media. Clearly, Ohio State is going to win this matchup, and even Joseph knows that, but there is one thing he asked of Ryan Day when it comes to this game.

Even though Joseph knows how this game is going to go, he asked Day to keep it a clean game in between the lines. Keep the penalties to a minimum, and this game will just go the way everyone believes it is going to go.

Although some people might take offense to the band joke because everyone knows Ohio State has the best band in the land.

At this point, Joseph is right, the writing is on the wall that this game won't be very competitive, so it is refreshing to see an opposing coach just want a clean game and get through it to move on to his next opponent.
