Former Washington head coach will regret doubting Julian Sayin in his first road game

Julian Sayin has looked solid so far this season, and with two weeks of rest and preparation, this is quite the take to have.

Ohio State is coming off its first bye week of the season after starting 3-0 with a win over No. 1 Texas at the time and wins over Grambling State and Ohio. Now the Buckeyes are getting set to start Big Ten play as they take on the Washington Huskies this upcoming weekend.

This will be the first away game for the Buckeyes this season, which in turn means the first away game for Julian Sayin's young career as a starter. This will be the first time this young quarterback has to feel the pressure of an away opponent's stadium. This won't be an easy test for Sayin, but for one former Washington head coach, he seems to think Ohio State's QB will fall apart.

On CBS Sports, former Washington head coach Rick Neuheisel and his crew were making their picks for Ohio State and Washington's matchup this season, and he believes that because this is Sayin's first away game, the Buckeyes are on upset watch and the Huskies will finish the job.

Neuheisel thinks Sayin won't be ready to have a crowd against him instead of being quiet for him in this game, and that it will rattle him. This is a pretty bold claim, especially when Sayin has been looking really good this season.

Sayin was able to handle a Texas defense that is very solid this season, so Washington's may not be as much to deal with. Of course, it is tough to go and play in away stadiums with the noise, but Sayin has to figure it out sooner or later, and this is the time to do it.

The Ohio State Buckeyes aren't looking to start out Big Ten play with a loss and it doesn't matter how loud that stadium gets, Sayin is planning on leading his team to victory and making Neuheisel regret ever picking against him and the Buckeyes.
