Former President will no longer attend the Ohio State football vs. Penn State game
By Ryan Stano
This weekend, the biggest matchup in college football is the Ohio State football team taking on Penn State. It's a top-five matchup that will decide the fate of the Big Ten. It's also the second top-five matchup that the Buckeyes have played in the last three games.
It's a game that will have a national audience. Everyone who loves college football will be watching this game. Neither team is coming off their best game headed into this one and each is dealing with some injuries. There's a lot riding on this game for both programs.
This game was supposed to have a very high-profile attendee. Former President Donald Trump was supposed to be attending this game in Happy Valley as he continues to campaign in the state of Pennsylvania. Now, that will no longer be the case.

Trump will no longer watch this matchup of top-five teams. That means fans going to the game won't have to deal with extra security, which is nice. It also means that neither team will have to worry about a change in their normal routines before a game because the former President will be there.
The Ohio State Buckeyes will be solely focused on beating the Nittany Lions to keep their Big Ten Championship hopes alive. If they don't win this game, there is no chance that they can win the conference. Anything not related to beating Penn State shouldn't be on their mind.
This should still be a great game to watch, whether or not a former President is in attendance. The Buckeyes should be fired up for this one. Whether or not they have the game plan or the players on the offensive line to win the game is another problem.
