Perhaps the most underrated sport that has been successful in Ohio State athletics in recent years is the wrestling program. Coach Tom Ryan has done a phenomenal job of recruiting and developing some of the best wrestlers in the country. He has turned multiple guys into national champions.
One of his former wrestlers is Kyle Snyder. Snyder is perhaps the greatest Ohio State wrestler of all time. He won three national championships while wrestling for the Buckeyes before going on to earn a gold medal in the 2016 Olympics and a silver medal in the 2020 Olympics.
Snyder continues to wrestle at a high level and just won yet another gold medal at the Pan American Games last year. Unfortunately for him, he has now found himself in hot water after an arrest earlier this month as part of a prostitution sting.

According to 10TV, Snyder was one of 16 men who were arrested in connection with a May 9th prostitution sting. He allegedly paid money to an undercover cop in exchange for some sex acts. He was released from custody at the scene and is expected to be in court on May 19th.
This is obviously not a good look for Snyder. He just signed with the Real American Freestyle Wrestling League last week, so this could put that in jeopardy. His wrestling skills have never come into question, considering he is a three-time world champion.
Snyder is one of the greatest Ohio State athletes of his generation, but he needs to make sure that he can put this behind him. He needs to make sure he doesn't make a mistake like this again. Something like this could certainly affect his future when it comes to wrestling.
