The Ohio State football program has a pretty tough schedule next season. They have some tough road games, including ones at Texas, Iowa, and USC. The Buckeyes will still be one of the best teams in the country. Even with all of the talent they lost, they should still be a top-five preseason team.

Right before the USC game, the Ohio State Buckeyes will get a bye week. That should help them prepare for that game well enough to get a victory. USC has not fared well in Big Ten play since joining the conference, although it did better last season than in 2024.

Former Ohio State football player Bryson Shaw ended up transferring to USC. Despite being a former Buckeye, it's clear he has no love left for the program. He claims Ohio State is going to get trounced by the Trojans, going so far as to guarantee a victory for USC.

Shaw was promoting his appearance on a USC podcast, and former Buckeye linebacker/running back Steele Chambers responded, saying USC will go 8-4 this season. Shaw responded to that with the social media post below, guaranteeing that the Buckeyes will lose to the Trojans.

Shaw still seems to be angry about the fact that the Buckeyes wanted him to transfer. Shaw was one of the worst safeties that the Buckeyes had in recent seasons. He was so bad that the Buckeyes pushed him out the door for Tanner McCalister, who was much better.

Steele clearly still loves the Buckeyes and believes they are a much better program than USC, which is why he brought this up in the first place. Shaw was also part of one of the worst defenses USC has had in recent years, as the 77th-worst defense in the country in 2024, which was Shaw's final year.

It's odd for a former Buckeye to seemingly hate on the program like this. There aren't very many instances of that being the case. Steele clearly still loves the Buckeyes, and it seems he has no love lost for his former teammate.
