The Ohio State football program, like every program, has had some former players find some trouble with the law. Typically, they don't have guys get in trouble for anything too serious, but not always. Once they leave Ohio State, it's up to them to stay on the straight and narrow.

One former member of the Ohio State Buckeyes was not able to do that this past weekend. Former running back Jordan Hall, who was Terrelle Pryor's best friend and running back in high school and followed him to Columbus, has found himself in some serious trouble.

Over the weekend, Hall was arrested for felonious assault after some alleged activities near downtown Columbus. The details of the alleged incident are pretty disturbing, and he could end up spending quite a while in prison if the details of this case are proven true.

According to Columbus police, Hall is alleged to have pulled a man out of his car at a gas station and repeatedly hit him in the head and face before getting back into his car to drive away. He then stopped the car, hit him two more times, before leaving the area.

The second time that he was struck, he fell back and hit his head and was found unconscious by police. Now, he is in critical condition in the hospital. The entire incident is just sad all around. We certainly hope that the victim makes a full recovery in this case.

If that man ends up passing away, things could be much more serious for Hall if these charges are proven true. He could end up spending the rest of his life in prison. That would be a very sad outcome for everyone involved with this case. You never want to see former Buckeyes have something like this happen to them.

Hall played for the Buckeyes from 2009-13 and was never the starting running back for the team. His best season was his final year when he ran for 536 yards and eight touchdowns. He was a former four-star recruit when he was brought in, but he never quite lived up to his potential.

Unfortunately, Hall has much bigger issues that he has to deal with now. A lot needs to be sorted out before more details about this case are made available, and there is going to be a long legal fight.
