Former Ohio State basketball player Clark Kellogg has been a part of the college basketball media scene for over 20 years. Ever since his NBA career ended after just five seasons because of knee problems, he has been working in media. He has done a really good job over the years with his college basketball announcing.
Kellogg is one of the most prominent voices in all of college basketball. He does some work for the NBA 2K video game as well. Adding it all together, Kellogg does a lot of work for the game of basketball. He does so much work that he has been recognized for it.
Former Ohio State basketball player Clark Kellogg gets prestigious award for excellence in media
Kellogg was awarded by the Basketball Hall of Fame with a prestigious award. He was given the Curt Gowdy Electronic Award on Friday. That award is given to someone who is great in both electronic media and print media. Kellogg certainly deserves the award.
The former player for the Buckeyes does work commentating on college basketball games across the country. He's also an in-studio analyst. He's a great ambassador for the game of college basketball. Honestly, he's a great ambassador for the Ohio State Buckeyes, too.
Kellogg still does charity work in Columbus and is well-loved in the state of Ohio. Whenever he's on TV doing a game, it's great to see. It's even better when he's able to do Ohio State games, which isn't very often. It'd be better if the Buckeyes could finally make the NCAA Tournament because then he could at least talk about them.
Ohio State looks like they have a chance to make the NCAA Tournament this season. They look like they will be in the field this season, as long as they don't crap the bed in the later half of the month. They have three of the best wins of anyone in the country.
Kellogg would certainly love to talk about the Buckeyes when March rolls around. He still roots hard for his alma mater. Them making a deep run in the Tournament would be great to see.
