It's safe to say that former Ohio State football signee Devin Brown hasn't quite had his college career go to plan thus far. When he originally signed with the Buckeyes, Brown made the move to Big Ten country with a ton of hype.

However, he only started one game in three campaigns with Ohio State before deciding to enter the transfer portal. Well, the former touted signal-caller is going to be on the move once again. Former Ohio State QB Devin Brown is entering the transfer portal again
A member of the 2022 class, the Draper, Utah product was ranked the No. 5 QB in the country and No. 43 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite. Ohio State was able to pull off a strong recruiting win to land him, but Brown's time in Columbus was a disappointment.
In his three years with the program, he tossed for 331 yards and three touchdowns. This past season, Brown wanted to make a major impact at Cal, but he also didn't see much success with the ACC side - he threw for only 48 yards and one touchdown. So, where will he play next?
That's not something for Ryan Day and the Buckeyes to worry about, as Julian Sayin is locked in as the starter for 2026 and Heisman hype is already there for him. Before Sayin even thinks about '26, he's got a CFP title on his mind, as Ohio State is looking to go back-to-back.
Miami is on the CFP schedule first, with college football fans across the world ready to see what the reigning national champs will be able to get done. Brown was hoping to make a CFP impact with Ohio State when he first joined the program, but that dream didn't come true for him.
