This weekend, the Ohio State football team is playing its first road game. They will be taking on undefeated Washington in Seattle. They get this game fresh off a bye week, which should make things easier. Ohio State will be playing in one of the most hostile environments in the Big Ten.
Washington has won 22 consecutive games at home, dating all the way back to 2021. It's the second-longest home winning streak in the country. That is what is giving some Huskies fans hope that they can pull off the upset, despite the Buckeyes being the favorites for this game.
While discussing this game, ESPN analyst Scott Van Pelt made sure to give the Ohio State Buckeyes the highest level of praise that he could, essentially saying that every time Ohio State plays someone else, it's that team's biggest game.

"I compare them to Duke with Krzyzewski in that when they come to your stadium, I don't care who you are, it's your biggest game. That's what they are. They go to Penn State, your biggest game. They go to Michigan; it's your biggest game. They went to Oregon last year, your biggest game. That's a rare space to be in. That's what they are."
It's very hard to be in that space as a college football program. The Buckeyes are one of the best teams every single year because they stay to that same standard year in and year out. That's not something that a lot of other programs can say.
Washington's biggest game of the year is certainly going to be Ohio State this weekend. They know just how good the Buckeyes are, and they will need to play a flawless game if they are going to have a chance to win this game on Saturday afternoon.
Ohio State is expecting to walk out of Seattle with another win because that's their standard. It's a standard that not everyone can live up to.
