The Ohio State football program has a history of bringing in multiple siblings over the years. The Bosa brothers are the most famous example, but certainly far from the only one. Usually, if a player chooses to play for the Buckeyes, the younger sibling follows him.
Not only does the allure of the Ohio State Buckeyes usually convince these younger siblings, but the older sibling can be pretty convincing. That's especially true if the older sibling is an elite recruit. The Buckeyes are hoping the same will be the case for a couple of 2027 recruits.
Ohio State has already landed a commitment from DJ Jacobs, the number-one recruit in the 2027 recruiting class. He has a younger brother, Dawson Jacobs, who is in the 2028 recruiting class. He gave a hint about whether or not he's considering the Buckeyes.
Elite recruit says his brother will be coming with him to Ohio State
While at a camp, Dawson Jacobs was asked if he felt any pressure to follow his brother.

"No, not at all."
DJ quickly jumped in with a different perspective.
"No, no, he's lying! He's coming to Ohio State."
Dawson looked incredulous, saying, "We're teaming up now?"
It seems like DJ wants his brother to join him with the Buckeyes. Dawson isn't as highly-ranked as DJ is, but he is still a four-star recruit. Ohio State would certainly love to have both of them on the defensive line for the next few years. That would be a nice duo in the trenches.
Larry Johnson has to make the same kind of recruiting pitch to Dawson that he did for DJ. That would certainly land him and allow him to team up with his brother. The Buckeyes need to make sure that they can keep DJ first off, as Signing Day for 2027 is pretty far off.
Ryan Day would love to have both Jacobs brothers play for his squad.
