The Ohio State football program hosted College GameDay on Saturday afternoon ahead of their matchup against Tennessee in the first round of the College Football Playoff. It was the fourth time this season that GameDay had been on set of a game involving the Buckeyes.

Ohio State has gone 2-1 in those previous visits. The only loss came at Oregon by just a single point. The Ohio State Buckeyes are one of the most talented teams in the country. Tennessee is a big underdog in the game, with them sitting as underdogs by a touchdown.

This was also a momentous College GameDay. It could be the final time that Lee Corso is on set and making a headgear pick. He has not made all of the trips to the different sets this season because of some health issues. He loves picking Ohio State. Did he pick the Buckeyes this time?

Lee Corso picks the Ohio State football team in what could be his final headgear pick

The entire College GameDay panel picked the Buckeyes to beat the Volunteers on Saturday night. Corso also picked them, putting Brutus on for what could be the final time. He wore the Brutus headgear in his first ever pick and he might put him on for what could be his last.

It was fairly surprising to see Desmond Howard pick Ohio State, and he cited Will Howard as a reason why. He's picked against them all season long. He was the only surprise from the panel. It was a clean sweep, which may mean bad news for Ohio State. You don't see many clean sweeps from the panel very often.

We'll see if the Buckeyes are able to take down Tennessee and move on to the Rose Bowl to play Oregon in a rematch. It's a huge game for the future of this program.
