The Ohio State Buckeyes play one of the biggest games of the season tonight against the Texas Longhorns. They have to play in a hostile environment under the lights. However, the Buckeyes are 2-0 in the last two years against the Longhorns, beating them by a combined 21 points.

Despite the fact that the Scarlet and Gray are the top-ranked team in the country, no one else seems to believe in them in this game. In fact, everyone on the panel of ESPN's College GameDay picked the Longhorns to beat Ohio State. Desmond Howard did, of course, but he tried to troll the Buckeyes in a very cheesy way.

Desmond Howard wears Texas-themed shoes while picking against Ohio State

As he was picking the Longhorns, Howard kicked up his shoes to reveal burnt orange shoes. He went as far as to buy Texas-themed shoes to troll Ohio State with his pick. That is one of the cheesiest ways to possibly pick against the best team in the country.

To further discredit his knowledge, he picked TTUN to beat Oklahoma, despite the fact that they stole a win against Western Michigan. The Wolverines looked like they could lose six games this season based on how they played against the Broncos. Yet, Howard thinks they beat the Sooners.

Picking Texas is the only way that Howard is going to be happy in Week 2. The Buckeyes have already beaten the Longhorns at a neutral site and at home. Beating them on the road would give them utter domination over Texas and the SEC with how they have played.

Howard picked Texas to win the national championship this year, so he wasn't going to pick them to lose to his arch-rival. Of course, Ohio State is going to see that everyone on the GameDay set picked against them, and they will certainly use that for more fuel.

Ohio State has a chance to be the undisputed best team in the country

Julian Sayin looked like a Heisman Trophy candidate in Week 1, throwing for 320 yards. He was given a very conservative game plan last year against Texas in what was his first start. That won't be the same kind of game that Arthur Smith wants him to play tonight.

Expect Sayin to throw the ball around all game long. Jeremiah Smith has been held in check in the last two matchups, but Arthur Smith will move him around the line of scrimmage. It would be shocking to see him have another poor game against the Longhorns.

A win at DKR would prove to the rest of the country that Ohio State is the best team in the country. Winning in a hostile environment would give them the best win in college football, and that win would likely stand for a while. It would also give this team a massive amount of confidence.

Perhaps even sweeter than that, it would shove it right back in Howard's smug face after he thought he could troll the team.
