Dave Portnoy's drama with FOX Big Noon Kickoff should have been expected

This is just getting ridiculous at this point.

Well, FOX Big Noon Kickoff is getting exactly what it wanted when choosing to add Barstool President Dave Portnoy to its team. Portnoy being banned from the Horseshoe this weekend, or actually the false report of it, has been drumming up all kinds of media attention for both the game this weekend and the show itself.

No, Portnoy was not banned from the Horseshoe, per Ohio State AD Ross Bjork, but instead, as reported, FOX has decided not to have Portnoy at the desk during the on-field pre-game portion of the show, which takes place inside the stadium. It has been reported that Portnoy will not be at the desk inside of any Big Ten game that Big Noon Kickoff attends.

Portnoy certainly has not been shy about his love for The Team Up North, hence why Ohio State fans were all that jazzed about him joining the crew, especially with how many games Big Noon Kickoff attends for Ohio State. However, now it seems like fans were correct in all the drama this is drumming up, and making the show already a bigger mess than it was before.

FOX Big Noon Kickoff constantly has to compete for attention with ESPN College Gameday, and the majority of the time, ESPN College Gameday comes out on top. So, bringing Portnoy onto the team was to try and get more attention on their show, but now it is just turning into a circus.

Let's also remember that this will be college football analyst great Lee Corso's final ESPN College Gameday show, as well as his final headgear pick. With how loved Corso is in the college football world, there is no doubt that everyone will be tuning in to see his final show and final headgear pick, which almost undoubtedly should be Brutus, his first love.

There is bound to be more to come with all this Portnoy drama, but how about everyone just focuses on Corso this week, as it is his time to shine.
