The Ohio State football team has a massive matchup coming up next week. They travel to Happy Valley and take on undefeated Penn State. It's a game that will have massive Big Ten ramifications, as well as College Football Playoff ramifications. The Buckeyes need a win.

It's a massive game. It will actually be the biggest game on the schedule next week. A former President will be in attendance at the game because of how big it is. Still, neither team comes in playing their best football. Both teams struggled this past week.

Still, the game is big enough that it's the Big Noon Kickoff game. It's the second week in a row that the Ohio State Buckeyes will be playing in that game. This game will also be the site of College Gameday, making it the second time in three weeks that the Buckeyes are playing where Gameday is.

The last time Gameday was on set, things didn't go well for the Buckeyes. They lost to Oregon in Eugene 32-31. That remains the only loss for Ohio State so far this season. Ohio State is hoping to not let the same thing happen next week when the play the Nittany Lions.

Ohio State was a favorite in that game against the Ducks. They are an early favorite against the Nittany Lions too. Right now, they are a 4.5-point favorite according to DraftKings. That's a scary-high number considering what we saw Ohio State do against the Cornhuskers.

This is a big game for the Buckeyes. If they lose this game, the calls to get rid of Ryan Day will be deafening. He will have no margin for error anymore. A win would give them a great shot to make the Big Ten Championship at the end of the year. It's a massive matchup.
