Cody Simon was an integral part of the Ohio State football team last season. After losing to TTUN, he was one of the leaders who was able to keep the team together. He helped the team regroup and go on the greatest four-game run in college football history to win the national championship.
Simon had to overcome injuries early in his career, but he really played well this past year for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Simon is a great player at the linebacker position who can rush the passer and stop the run. Not only that, but he is a leader that the Cardinals will love.
Simon was chosen by the rest of his teammates to wear the Block O jersey this past year, which shows you how highly they thought of him. The Buckeyes loved having Simon on the team, and the Cardinals will too. In fact, the Cardinals might get a lot of playing time out of him as a rookie.

Based on what the Cardinals have on the roster, Simon has a good chance to see the field a lot as a rookie. He is someone who can add value on special teams for the Cardinals, too. Simon does not have an ego, and will do whatever is needed to make the Cardinals a better team.
Simon becomes the first Ohio State player taken in the fourth round and on the third day of the draft. It's surprising that he was taken ahead of Jack Sawyer, but Arizona must really love him. He is going to work hard to make an impact on the team right away.
Simon will go down as a Buckeye that everyone loved. He had a great final season.
