Communal offering

If you were a Buckeye prospect this past weekend, chances are you had a great couple of days.

A week ago, the scarlet and gray offered 6-5, 265-pound defensive lineman Ayden Woodruff out of Tennessee. He is a 4-star recruit, with offers from Appalachian State, Auburn, and Kentucky, signifying the SEC's presence on his recruiting board. Oh yeah, Alabama offered him the day before Ohio State did, and Texas A&M offered him this week -- he is definitely catching the eyes of the powerhouses of the collegiate football world.

If one 6-5 4-star wasn't enough for you, Ohio State offered Jack McNamara from the class of 2028, 247Sports' No. 4 tight end of the class. He's also grabbing the attention of schools like Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Illinois, as the recruiting cycle is heating up for the lengthy pass catcher from Chicago.

For the last of the non-committal recruits, Jared Doughty, a 6-5, 300-pound offensive lineman, received his offer from the Buckeyes this weekend, too, as a 3-star senior. This elicited excitement from the hefty blocker, according to 247Sports' Bill Kurelic.
