At this point, it feels like it's going to be a lock that Ohio State is going to land a new commitment sooner rather than later. In this case, we're talking about 2027 cornerback prospect Danny Lang, who has been quite high on the Buckeyes for some time.

Just recently, Lang was in Columbus to participate in an Ohio State camp and he put on quite the show. Obviously, he impressed the coaching staff. When asked about how his recruitment is going, the California product didn't hold back in saying OSU is his dream school. He also added more insights that are sure to fire up fans everywhere:

4-star CB Danny Lang said he'll most likely end up committing to Ohio State

"Ohio State - this is my dream school," Lang told Bucknuts247's Bill Kurelick. "They're very high on my list. It's most likely where I'll be coming."

That's quite the quote from Lang, who was all smiles when talking about how much love he has for the program. Not only that, but the 6-1, 165-pounder said he's trying to return to campus sometime in June for another unofficial visit, while he's also hoping to fly out for the season-opener against Texas.

While the focus for Ryan Day is on continuing to build the 2026 class, he hasn't forgotten about '27 playmakers and Lang is no question a priority for him. Throughout his recruitment, he has picked up offers from Ohio State, Alabama, USC, Arizona State, Florida, Notre Dame, Tennessee and many others.

Lang is ranked four stars, the No. 16 CB in the country and No. 135 player nationally by 247Sports. There's no set timeline for when he'll make his decision, but all signs are pointing to him giving Day and Co. his verbal. Thus far for the 2027 class, Day has picked up commitments from 5-star WR Jamier Brown and 4-star QB Brady Edmunds. Lang could end up joining them before you know it.
