These Ohio State football players could have their eyes on the Transfer Portal before the 2025 season has even started.

3. Bryson Rodgers

Bryson Rogers plays in what is the best unit of the entire roster. The wide receiver position is by far the best unit on the team. It's the best receiver unit in the country, which makes it even harder for him to get onto the field. Jeremiah Smith is the best player in all of college football.

Carnell Tate could be the number-one option on almost any other team in the country. Brandon Inniss and Mylan Graham are ahead of Rodgers on the depth chart. Freshman Quincy Porter might soon be ahead of him, as well. Rodgers is already a junior, as well.

Rodgers actually already put his name in the Transfer Portal once, but he decided to stay on with the Buckeyes. He was able to win a national championship, which was clearly the top priority for him at the time. Now that he has a ring, that might not be the priority for him at this point in his career.

It's highly unlikely that Rodgers will end up getting much playing time beyond blowouts this season. Ohio State's receivers are too good at the top for anyone else to steal many snaps. Perhaps Rodgers will want to go somewhere to actually get some targets after this season.
