As we know for the third year in a row the Ohio State football team lost to TTUN. Devastating. But there is still hope for this team. After the loss Washington, Georgia, and Florida State all won, yet kept it close with unranked teams. With Ohio State only losing by 6, they still have a shot at making the College Football Playoff.

The Ohio State football team still deserves a shot at the Playoff. The best hope is to be placed 4th to play Georgia again. Nothing would feel better than to get our revenge from last year. OSU fans need to be hopeful the committee will allow them to make the CFP regardless of the loss.

What happens after the season if you do or don’t make it? I think the outcome should be the same regardless if the Buckeyes make or miss the playoffs. Ryan Day so badly needs to be fired. An interim coach from TTUN outperformed him on Saturday. The reason why was that TTUN was so much more aggressive. Ryan Day practically refused to go for any type of 4th down no matter how far it was.

The best bet for Day is to take the opportunity from Texas A&M while a team still wants him. Losing the biggest regular season out of all college football 3 times in a row is a sign something needs to change. It’s becoming more and more apparent that Day is nothing of what Urban Meyer was.

Ryan Day was handed a top-three team in the nation and he’s ruined them completely by not trusting his quarterback, not being aggressive enough in huge games, and just simply disappointing every single one of his fans. I think it’s the right move to call for Day’s removal after this season.

At least Buckeye fans still have a chance to not hang their heads. If Alabama, Texas, Oregon, and Florida State lose next week, there might still be some hope.
