The Ohio State football team is taking on Michigan in the final game of the season in Ann Arbor. The Buckeyes need this one in the worst way. TTUN needs it too, trying to prove that the last two wins weren’t just a product of their cheating. Ryan Day has the most to prove in this game.

If Day doesn’t win this game today, he is going to get calls from fans to lose his job. You can bet that he hasn’t gotten a lot of sleep this week in preparation for this game. He wants to win this game as badly as anyone. You can tell how much he hates Jim Harbaugh and that program.

In order to win, the passing game has to be on target early. The Buckeyes have to be balanced on offense and get their guys open creatively. Michigan will try their best to deny Marvin Harrison Jr. the ball throughout the entire game, so other receivers will have to step up.

Defensively, the Buckeyes have to stop the run. The defensive line is going to be tested early, especially up the middle. Stopping Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards will be a priority for Jim Knowles’ unit. If they can do that, they will be in a great spot to win the game.

Prediction: Ohio State football 24 Michigan 20

This is the same score prediction I had on Monday as well. Usually, the score changes a bit. For some reason, I think this is the right one. I think it’s going to be a close game throughout. I just think that Ohio State’s defense will carry the day for them at the end.

I don’t think J.J. McCarthy is good enough to move the ball through the air against this secondary. It’s by far the best secondary he has faced this season. That secondary will be the difference for the Buckeyes and they should finish the season undefeated.
