The Ohio State football team will have a chance at revenge on Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor as the undefeated Buckeyes take on the undefeated Michigan Wolverines.

There is one thing on the minds of Ohio State football team head coach Ryan Day and his players. Revenge. Revenge for the cheating. Revenge for being kept from the Big Ten Championship game the past two years. Revenge on Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh.

In what has to be the most highly anticipated matchup between these two programs since the infamous 2006 game, Ohio State and Michigan are on a collision course come Saturday afternoon. Winner takes all as the loser, all but likely, would be left on the outside of the college football playoff picture.

This game has an obvious unique twist as the Wolverines will be without its head coach, Jim Harbaugh, for good reason. He was caught in the middle of a sign-stealing scandal and has been rightfully punished.

The Wolverines are coming off a lackluster performance up in College Park, Maryland last weekend, where they beat the Terrapins 31-24. Quarterback J.J. McCarthy did not look great going only 12-23 passing for 141 yards and an interception. This comes on the heels of the Penn State game a week earlier where he only attempted nine passes. If you truly believe in your quarterback, how do you throw the ball only nine times in its biggest game of the season to date?

But this game could be won or lost in the trenches for both sides, as it usually is. Michigan’s offensive line has not been playing at its best recently and has had some injuries to boot. Ohio State’s offensive line has finally started to gel as this season has progressed and they have become a respectable unit. Will that be enough for a Buckeye victory come Saturday?
