Final Score Prediction: Ohio State football 34, Minnesota 10

The Ohio State football team might be hitting their stride at the right time. With a dominant performance against Michigan State last week on both sides of the ball, I expect more of the same come Saturday afternoon against Minnesota.

Offensively, look for Ryan Day to continue to get Kyle McCord ready for Michigan. He was great against the Spartans, especially with his accuracy. I think McCord continues to get his confidence built against a decent, but not great secondary.

Look for Marvin Harrison Jr. to be a major part of the game plan early as the Buckeyes help pad some stats for his Heisman case. I would love to see him get a deep ball early as McCord and Harrison keep building their chemistry with one another.

Defensively, this could be a big game for the Buckeyes on the turnover front. Like I said before, P.J. Fleck and this Golden Gophers team need a win to become bowl-eligible. They are not going to win by being passive, so I expect Minnesota to gamble a bit, and that could lead to some turnover opportunities for Ohio State.

Next. C.J. Stroud is an MVP candidate. dark

At the end of the day, this game should go much like last weekend went. The Gophers are limping into the end of the season. I would expect a dominant performance early from both sides of the ball, and another second half coast to victory from the Buckeye backups.
