Weather forecast for Ohio State Football vs. Michigan State
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team will play the latest game in the history of the Shoe. It’s the first time that a night game in November has been played. The Big Ten has long pushed against night home games in November, and Ohio State has been a part of that push.
For this year at least, there will be one. The Spartans come in having lost six of their last seven games. They did just beat Nebraska last week though, so they have some momentum. What they need is another bad weather day in the Shoe just like they got back in 2015.
Will they get that bad weather day? According to the Weather Channel, they will not. The game kicks off at 7:30 pm and will feature clear skies. It will be chilly though with a game-time temperature of about 40 degrees. This will be the coldest game the Ohio State football team has played so far.
There won’t be much in terms of wind. It will blow at 3-5 mph throughout the game. There is no chance of precipitation either, so the Spartans won’t have the weather on their side. It should be a pretty nice night for football in mid-November for both teams.
Ohio State is heavily favored in this game. This weather forecast should only reinforce that. They are the better team and have so much more talent. I would expect this game to be a blowout and there should be a lot less stress than there was for Buckeye fans during the Rutgers game.
For those attending the Shoe like myself, we need to make sure we bundle up!
