We told you yesterday that Michigan claims that they have evidence that the Ohio State football program shared Michigan’s signals with Purdue before last year’s Big Ten Championship. They claim that Rutgers did the same thing. Ryan Day has come out to dispute that.

Day claims that they did nothing of the sort. Take a look at the tweet below.

As you can see. he categorically denies that anyone with the Ohio State football program did anything of the sort. It does surprise me that he even addressed this considering that during his weekly press conference, he mentioned ignoring all of the outside noise that is going on.

Day is essentially calling Michigan a bunch of liars. It wouldn’t be surprising if Michigan did lie about this. They seem to be (allegedly) lying about everything since this scandal started. The Buckeyes will be denying any sort of wrongdoing in this whole saga.

I’ll be interested to see what kind of response Michigan has to this. They likely won’t get punished until tomorrow, if any sort of punishment comes at all. Now that TTUN has had a chance to respond, It’s up to Big Ten Commissioner Tony Pettiti to decide what he wants to do.

The Ohio State football team will now turn the page on this and put their full focus on Michigan State. Michigan, on the other hand, may have some big issues to deal with. I’m interested to see what Purdue has to say on the matter. They may not respond at all though.

We will certainly keep you updated on any possible punishment TTUN gets.
