The Ohio State football team is set to take on Michigan State this Saturday evening in Ohio Stadium. Here are three predictions for the game.
With only two games left before the Michigan game, the Ohio State football team needs not to lose focus of the task at hand. The Michigan State football team comes to Columbus this weekend, a program has battled turmoil this season with the ousting of former head coach Mel Tucker.
The Spartans are coming off of an upset win however of Nebraska last Saturday. While they might be riding high for now, Michigan State just doesn’t have the horses to compete with Ohio State.
Freshman Katin Houser is expected to start at quarterback, coming off his best game of the season against Nebraska throwing 165 yards and a touchdown. Running back Nathan Carter is probably the Spartans’ best offensive player, rushing for 659 yards and four scores on the season.
But the bottom line is that as long as the Buckeyes show up on Saturday evening, they should win the game with ease. Here are three predictions for the game.
No. 1) The Ohio State Gray alternate uniform is their best ever.
The Buckeyes have had some cool alternate uniforms in recent seasons. The last one was the all-scarlet uniform they wore against Penn State two seasons ago in Ohio Stadium. They have also had multiple black uniforms to go along with the throwback gray stripe sleeve uniforms that they tend to wear in the College Football Playoffs.
But, just getting a sneak peek last night on X of the new gray uniform has me really excited for Saturday night. These things look awesome, to say the least and I think come Saturday night, every Buckeye fan will be saying that these are the coolest alternate uniforms we’ve ever seen the Ohio State football team put on.
