The Ohio State football team was able to beat Maryland by 20 points on Saturday afternoon. They were able to do this despite an extremely slow start on the offensive side of the football. The Buckeyes had just 28 yards of total offense after the first quarter.

After that, the Buckeyes fixed the offense and scored a bunch of points in the second half. They ended up finishing with 382 total yards with 320 of them being passing. Apparently, that wasn’t enough for one Ohio State football player’s dad.

Marvin Harrison, who is my favorite athlete of all time, put something on his Instagram story that raised some eyebrows. His son, Marvin Harrison Jr., wasn’t getting the ball a ton in the first half. In that first half, Harrison Sr. posted a story that included a picture of C.J. Stroud and Lincoln Kienholz.

You can see the screenshot of it below:

It seemed that Harrison Sr. was not a fan of what Kyle McCord was doing out there in the first half. This is a very odd post because McCord was Harrison Jr.’s quarterback in high school. They seemed to have a great connection then so I’m not sure why Harrison Sr. is getting angry.

Missing Stroud makes sense. He just set an NFL record over the weekend and was really good for the Ohio State football team for the past two seasons. But the idea of putting Kienholz out there is ridiculous. He might be good, but he’s also never played in a college game.

I think Harrison Jr. might have a quick chat with his father about his posting during games. McCord isn’t as good as Stroud, but he showed during the Notre Dame game that he has some moxie. He should only continue to get better as the season goes along.
