The Ohio State football team takes on an undefeated team for the second consecutive game. Maryland comes to town to try to pull a big upset. The Buckeyes are a really good team and they have shown that so far through their first four games.

Defense has been the name of the game for the Ohio State football team so far. They haven’t allowed anyone to score more than 14 points on them. They might just be a defensive team at this point despite not being able to record many sacks.

Marvin Harrison Jr. has a sprained ankle so that could limit his effectiveness in this one. He said it’s worse than the one he had last year but he’s still able to go. Harrison Jr. will still be the focal point on Maryland’s defense so expect a big game from Emeka Egbuka.

I also expect the running game for the Buckeyes to be very good. TreVeyon Henderson is the best running back on the field in this game. I could see him going for at least two rushing touchdowns. This would be a good game for the offense to get better in short-yardage situations.

Prediction: Ohio State football 35 Maryland 14

I don’t see Maryland being able to score more points than Notre Dame did a couple of weeks ago. The weather could end up being a factor in this one, especially when either team tries to throw the ball. That’s what Maryland does best, so that could be an issue.

Ohio State’s secondary has also been phenomenal so far this season. I don’t expect that to change this week. This Buckeye team is rested and refreshed after the bye week, so I think they will cover the spread this week. Give me the Buckeyes in a game that could be worse than this score.
