For the first half of the game, it didn’t look good for the Ohio State football team. In fact,  it was tied at 10 heading into halftime. It actually looked like Ohio State had the chance to lose today. The offense was not effective at all until the second half. In fact, they didn’t score an offensive touchdown until the third quarter.

Josh Proctor had the only touchdown for the Ohio State football team in the first half after he had a 23-yard pick-six in the first half. The defense allowed the most points the have all season after allowing 17. Ohio State was still able to win 37-17 off the strength of their second half performance.

Kyle McCord looked bad in the first half and then turned it around. He eventually threw for a career-high in passing yards, throwing for 320 yards. Marvin Harrison Jr. had 8 catches for 163 yards and a touchdown despite having a sprained ankle. He was the best receiver the Buckeyes had today.

Maryland came into this game very confident and expecting to win. It looked like they were going to do so after the first quarter considering Ohio State was down 10-0. After that, the Buckeyes out-scored the Terrapins 37-7. It’s a win that Ohio State can tout on their resume.

Ohio State now improves to 6-0 heading into a game against Purdue. The Buckeyes don’t look like the best version of themselves after the bye week. That was surprising, considering they had two weeks to prepare for for this Maryland team. It seems like a flaw in coaching.

Ohio State was able to win the game and that’s all that matters. They continue to be undefeated and that’s what they need to strive for heading to into the Penn State game in a couple of weeks. Ryan Day just cares about winning the game.
