We had a good run. Ohio State football fans thought they were in the clear of having a game shown exclusively on Peacock after the Maryland game was moved to FOX. NOPE! Turns out NBC was just faking us all out and has decided to show a game on Peacock anyway.

It has been announced that when Purdue gets ready to face the Ohio State football team in a couple of weeks, it will be exclusively on Peacock. That means Buckeye fans are going to have to pay for a subscription to this service for just one measly game.

Of course, you could always just do a free trial and then cancel it in seven days. I have a feeling that’s what a lot of Ohio State football fans will do. The game will take place at noon as well. This is the first time that the Buckeyes will be shown exclusively on a streaming service.

There will be other ways to watch the game, including on Fubo TV. That might be the best option in order to watch this game if you won’t be attending it. We knew this was going to happen at some point, we just didn’t expect it to happen this season after what happened with the Maryland game.

My guess is that this will happen at least once a year with the Buckeyes. NBC wants people to sign up for their streaming service and this is a good way to make people do it. Just get used to signing up with a different email address for free trials every year.
