Buckeye Nation is a close-knit group. If you performed well as an Ohio State football player and treated the community well, Buckeye fans will love you forever. That’s certainly the case with most of the 2002 national title team that the Buckeyes had.

One of the members of that team was former linebacker Cie Grant. Grant was the one who made the game-sealing play in that National Championship Game by flinging Ken Dorsey to the ground on fourth down as he threw the final pass of the game. Grant is also known for being the best singer on the team.

Grant has tweeted some strange stuff over the last few years. In the last couple of days, his tweets were concerning enough for Ohio State football fans to wonder if something was seriously wrong. They were beginning to worry about his well-being.

It turns out that he is fine. Dustin Fox, a cornerback on that 2002 national title team, tweeted out a photo of him and Grant in the car together. Fox went in and checked on him since the two are closely located in the Cleveland area. Grant seemed well in the photo.

I’m not sure what is going on with Grant at the moment but I sure hope that he is alright mentally. It’s nice to see that he has friends who care about him enough to check on him and make sure that he’s doing okay. It’s also nice to see that he has fans who still care about him that much too.

Next. Ohio State no longer has a game on Peacock. dark

We’ll let you know if there was any sort of incident that led to Fox going to check up on him, but all seems well now. Let’s hope it stays that way and there is no need for further concern from Buckeye fans.
