Final Score Prediction: Notre Dame 27, Ohio State football 24

As much as this pains me to say, I think the Buckeyes are in for a tough game on Saturday. They have not been challenged at all this season and the talent on the field will be nearly equal. And the blueprint is out on how to stop this Ohio State offensive attack. With college football’s new clock running rules, it is easier now more than ever to limit Ohio State’s possessions on offense.

The combination of Estime running the ball coupled with Sam Hartman’s timely throws, especially on third downs where the Buckeyes have struggled, could be a recipe for disaster. I have not been impressed with this Ohio State defensive line so far this year, and the Notre Dame offensive line is one of the best in college football.

Offensively I think Ohio State will move the ball within the 20s pretty much at ease. The key to this game for Ohio State will be able to maximize their red zone offense. They have to score touchdowns and not settle for field goals.

I just think Ohio State is vulnerable right now. It’s early in the season, Kyle McCord has not played in an atmosphere like this yet. If this game was in November, I think the Buckeyes would have a much better chance. But before the season started, I predicted Ohio State would lose one game as the schedule is very tough. I think this is that one game.

Notre Dame 27, Ohio State football 24.
