The Ohio State football team takes on Western Kentucky today in their final tune-up prior to traveling to South Bend to take on Notre Dame. It’s a game that shouldn’t be a test of Ohio State on whether or not they are going to win, but by how much they will do so.

Western Kentucky has a very good passing offense. They will definitely be able to move the ball down the field just because of how much they throw it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they threw it 60 times today. It will be a stark contrast to the last two opponents the Buckeyes have faced.

As far as the Ohio State football team is concerned, it’s a chance for them to finally get to the quarterback. Sacks have been an issue for this team so far. This is the week to fix that, along with issues up front on the offensive line. This is a get-right game for the Buckeyes.

If Ohio State can run-block better and impose their will in short-yardage situations, this game won’t be even close. That is something they will be working on in this game so that they can feel better about those situations next week against the Irish.

Prediction: Ohio State football 56 Western Kentucky 20

Although the Ohio State defense has played pretty well through two weeks, I think WKU will get into the end zone a couple of times. They are too good of an offense to get shut out. They have scored 93 points in their first two games. I just don’t think they can stop Ohio State’s offense.

I think this is the week that we see the Buckeyes have an explosive offense for the entire game. I think both halves will see the Buckeyes move down the field at will. Devin Brown will play less in this game as Kyle McCord should be able to throw for 300+ yards in this game.

Hopefully, I’m right about the offense this week.
