Ohio State Football: 3 bold predictions for YSU game
Final Score: Ohio State football 66, Youngstown State 6
The Ohio State football team should look dominant in this game. Playing an FCS school, Ohio State needs to use this game to get going offensively. In particular, the offensive line better step up and dominate the trenches. They need to give the quarterbacks the time necessary to let routes develop downfield and to let these skilled receivers get open.
Defensively, I think the Buckeyes will actually get a chance at wreaking some havoc on Saturday. Indiana didn’t give them the chance to do it by running a triple-option offense and slowing the pace of the game to a crawl. I think the Youngstown State coaches will let them play, as for most of their players this will be the biggest game of their careers.
Overall, the Buckeyes have vastly superior talent on both sides of the ball, and it should reflect on the scoreboard as I’ve got the Ohio State football team beating Youngstown State 66-6. It will be on to next week when Western Kentucky shows up to Ohio Stadium. WKU should present the Buckeyes with better competition for getting ready for the big Week 4 showdowns with Notre Dame in South Bend.
