The Ohio State football team opens up their season against Indiana in Bloomington on Saturday afternoon. The long wait is almost finally over. After losing to Georgia in the Peach Bowl, this Buckeye team is ready to get that bad taste out of their mouth.

With it being the opening weekend of the season, and the first time you can legally bet on Ohio State football regular season games, we give you some of the best bets that are available for this opening game against the Hoosiers. All odds are courtesy of FanDuel.

The first bet that I like is Cade Stover to be an anytime touchdown scorer. Those odds currently sit at +140. I think the Buckeyes are going to score a lot of points on Saturday. While the Buckeyes don’t typically use the tight end a lot, I think Stover will get into the end zone this weekend.

I also like the alternate total points of over 61.5 points. I don’t think Indiana is going to be able to stop Ohio State, no matter which quarterback is out there. There are also still questions about how good the Buckeyes’ secondary is. Those odds currently sit at +116.

If you think the Buckeyes are going to cover like I do, then you can parlay the 29.5-point cover and over 59.5 total points for +210 odds. I think that’s a pretty good bet myself considering the total has gone over that amount every year these two teams have played since 2016.

If you want to get a little frisky, there is a game special bet to have 4+TDs in each half. That’s just total touchdowns from both teams. I think Ohio State might do that by themselves, and those odds come in at +180.
