Ohio State Football: Ochocinco thinks Marvin Harrison Jr. will win Heisman
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team has one of the best players in all of college football. That of course is Marvin Harrison Jr. He’s clearly the best receiver in the country and is one of the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy regardless of who his quarterback will end up being.
Harrison Jr. has a big fan in former receiver Chad Johnson, also known as Ochocinco. Johnson played in the NFL for a long time and knows what it takes to be a great wide receiver. He thinks that Harrison Jr. should win the Heisman this season and put out a bold statement.
Everyone knows that Ochocinco loves to eat McDonald’s and did so even while he was playing football. His metabolism is crazy so he could eat junk food and still perform at an extremely high level. He’s risking a lot if Harrison Jr. can’t win the Heisman!
On a more serious note, this shows just how good Harrison Jr. is. He’s got former NFL players thinking that he should win the Heisman as a wide receiver. If he’s able to actually win it, the Ohio State football team will actually be in a very good position to win a national title.
We’ll see if Harrison Jr. can defy the odds and win it as a receiver. Only Devonta Smith has ever won the Heisman as just a pure receiver. If anyone can do it, it’s Marvin. He’s that good of a player. The Buckeyes would be smart to get him the ball as much as possible throughout this season.
