3. The Ohio State football program wins a recruiting national championship

Ohio State has never had the best recruiting class in the country. Since recruiting data has been kept, the Buckeyes have never finished higher than second. That’s where they sit right now as well. The only program that has a better class than them right now is Georgia.

I think that changes by the time the season ends. I think the Buckeyes will end the 2024 recruiting class with the best class in the country. They only have 21 commits right now while Georgia has 26. The Buckeyes are planning on taking a pretty full class too.

That means that they are going to take six or maybe even seven more prospects. That leaves them plenty of time to close that gap to win a recruiting national championship and have the best recruiting class in program history. That would be quite an accomplishment.

I’d much rather win a regular national championship. I’m not quite ready to go there with this year’s team. It’s not that it’s too bold of a prediction for me, because it’s not. This team is quite talented and very well could win it all. I just have too many questions that need to be answered first.

If these three bold predictions do come true for this season, the Buckeyes will have a great shot to win the national title this season and next season as well. They just have to keep on working hard.
