Ohio State Football loading up on five-star recruits
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team has a great recruiting class going for the class of 2024. As of right now, they have the second-best class in the entire country. Only Georgia has a better class than them at this moment. No one has as many five-star recruits as them though.
Ohio State has four five-star recruits in that class right now. The next closest school has three five-star guys. That can change of course, but the Buckeyes can also still land some more five-star guys with this class, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
The Buckeyes can still get Eddrick Houston and KJ Bolden to add to that five-star total. Not only would that solidify them as having the most five-star recruits, but it would also give them a chance to pass Georgia as having the best recruiting class in the country.
Those two defensive studs would also help a unit that has been maligned the last few years, especially in the secondary. The Buckeyes would really love to get Bolden as a five-star safety. The secondary is the unit that needs to improve the most right now.
I don’t know what the Ohio State football team is going to be able to do to finish their class. It’s unclear exactly how many of those recruits the Buckeyes are going to land. If everything goes right, they can get both five-star guys and this can be one of the best recruiting classes in school history.
Even the way it’s currently constructed, the class is still one of the best in school history. Hopefully, they can add some more talent before February when the signing class officially gets their letters of intent done.
