The Ohio State football team is gearing up for the start of fall camp next week. Here are the top five players in the Big Ten conference for 2023.

The Ohio State football team and every other school in the Big Ten are getting ramped up for the start of fall camps next week. This is always a great time of the year as we as fans know that football season is right around the corner.

Continuing with our Big Ten predictions, today we bring you the top five players in the Big Ten regardless of position. These players are the heart and souls of their respective teams and should be looked at as future NFL stars.

It’s tough to make a list such as this with it being hard to compare players who play different positions. But these five represent the best of what the Big Ten has to offer and in the end, it was easy to find reasons for these five to be included on a list such as this. Without further ado, here we go!

Blake Corum comes in at No. 5 on our list as he’s most certainly the best tailback in the Big Ten heading into 2023. Corum rushed for 1,463 yards and 18 touchdowns last season, on his way to becoming a Heisman Trophy finalist.

To the surprise of many, Corum withheld from entering the NFL draft and instead returned to the Wolverines. Entering his fourth season in the program, Corum should still see the majority of the workload and that will mean another monster season for the Maize and Blue running back.

Fashanu is an easy candidate to be included on this list as he is universally seen as the best Big Ten offensive tackle by most scouting services. He’s also anticipated as a top half of the first-round NFL draft pick in 2024.

Fashanu’s play is key for any success that Penn State will have in 2023. Keeping the young but talented quarterback, Drew Allar, upright is essential for the Nittany Lions. They need to be able to throw the ball downfield, and that all starts with having one of the best left tackles in all of college football.
