Ohio State Football recruiting target seen wearing TTUN shoes
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football program is trying to bolster its secondary through the recruiting trail. They are also trying to steal more recruits from Michigan. They have already done so with one cornerback recruit and are looking to get another one with an in-state corner.
That in-state corner is Aaron Scott out of Springfield. He is a four-star recruit and has three schools he is choosing from. Those schools are the Ohio State football program, TTUN, and Oregon. It really seems to be down to the Buckeyes and the Wolverines though.
Ohio State has been the favorite for a while, but something today might concern Buckeye fans who are confident that they will land Scott. Today at a 7-on-7 event in Dayton, Scott was spotted wearing Michigan cleats. Take a look at the photo below:
That’s something I’d prefer not to see, especially with his commitment date coming up in just a few weeks. Scott will be committing on July 30th, which is just a couple of weeks away. I would have preferred if he just wore some neutral shoes if he wasn’t going to wear Ohio State shoes.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that Scott has made up his mind and is for sure choosing Michigan. There is still time for the Buckeyes to make a push for Scott. I don’t think there’s any real chance that Oregon comes in at the final hour and lands the commitment.
We’ll certainly let you know what Scott’s final decision will be once he makes it in a few weeks. Right now, it seems like it’s neck-and-neck between two longtime rivals. It’d be really nice if the Buckeyes could come up on top.
