The Ohio State football team returns some really solid talent. They are going to be a top-five preseason team. There’s a chance they are rated as high as two in the preseason polls despite some questions in the secondary. They still have enough talent to win it all.

With so much talent, the Buckeyes aren’t short on reliable players, especially on the offensive side of the ball. So who is the most reliable player on the team? That’s a pretty easy answer this year. The most reliable player on the Ohio State football team is Marvin Harrison Jr.

Harrison Jr. very well could be the best receiver in college football this year. I thought he was last year despite getting snubbed for the Biletnikoff. He is going to be a sure-fire first-round pick in next year’s draft and is the Buckeyes’ number one weapon on offense.

No matter who is throwing him the ball, Harrison Jr. is going to be a freak. He’s the best security blanket you could ask for as a quarterback because he has the size, strength, speed, and hands to catch almost any pass thrown his way. He’s a cheat code at receiver.

Because he’s so good, defenses will be paying plenty of attention to him. He is going to get double-teamed quite often this year. That will just open up other opportunities for some other great receivers that Ohio State has on the roster. It’s the best group of receivers in the country.

Harrison Jr. is going to put up some monster numbers this season. Even with all of the attention he’s going to receive, he’s still too good to not put up huge numbers. Of all the receivers that Brian Hartline has recruited over the years, Harrison Jr. might be the best one.
