A handful of former Ohio State basketball players will compete in the NBA Summer League this month, headlined by San Antonio Spurs guard Malaki Branham. Branham displayed intriguing potential during his rookie year and should have a chance to earn more minutes with the San Antonio Spurs next season.

Despite sitting out the summer league opener, Branham scored a game-high 32 points and five rebounds to help the Spurs secure a win last night. Other previous Ohio State standouts that are expected to play in the annual Summer League include EJ Liddell, Brice Sensabaugh, and Justice Sueing.

Following an impressive freshman campaign, Sensabaugh was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 28th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft last month.

Sensabaugh showed off elite scoring ability last season, leading the Buckeyes with a team-best 16.3 points en route to receiving All-Big Ten honors. The Orlando product continues to deal with a nagging knee injury so it’s unclear if the Jazz will play him at all this summer according to CBS Sports.
