Ohio State football has strangely never played these FBS teams

Ohio State football vs. ACC

Wake Forest: Perhaps historically the worst football program in the ACC, Wake Forest has never been on the Buckeyes’ radar as a future opponent. They’ve also never faced each other in a bowl game. I don’t see either of those things happening soon either.

Georgia Tech: I’m a little surprised these two squads have never suited up against each other. There are plenty of Buckeye fans in Atlanta so I’m a little surprised they have never done a home-and-home. That would have made more sense when GT was a little better.

Now that Tech isn’t as good, I doubt this matchup will happen anytime soon. The only way they could face off against each other is if GT somehow has an incredible 10-win season and plays the Buckeyes in a bowl game outside the CFP.

With the CFP about to expand to 12 teams, I doubt that will even be possible. This is a team to keep in mind in the next ten years though in terms of scheduling.
