The Ohio State football team has the No. 2 ranked class so far in 2024. Here is who we think can come next for the recruiting class.

The Ohio State football team is off to another hot start in recruiting. So far, the Buckeyes have the No. 2 ranked class in 2024, according to 247Sports composite rankings, with 16 verbal commitments. This list includes three five-star recruits and 11 four-star recruits. Here is the complete list so far for Ohio State:

Jeremiah Smith, WR- No. 2 overall recruit, 5-star

Mylan Graham, WR- No. 19 overall, 5-star

Air Noland, QB- No. 34 overall, 5-star

Bryce West, CB- No. 46 overall, 4-star

James Peoples, RB- No. 76 overall, 4-star

Ian Moore, OT- No. 118 overall, 4-star

Garrett Stover, LB- No. 140 overall, 4-star

Jordan Lyle, RB- No. 169 overall, 4-star

Payton Pierce, LB- No. 172 overall, 4-star

Jaylen McClain, S- No. 236 overall, 4-star

Max LeBlanc, TE- No. 274 overall, 4-star

Deontae Armstrong, OT- No. 328 overall, 4-star

Devontae Armstrong, IOL- No. 352 overall, 4-star

Damarion Witten, TE- No. 452 overall, 4-star

Marc Nave, IOL- No. 624 overall, 3-star

Sam Williams-Dixon, RB- No. 736 overall, 3-star

This is a very impressive list so far for Ryan Day, Mark Pantoni, and the rest of the Buckeye staff. But Ohio State likes to have at least 20 kids per class, and this one could be a bit more depending on who ends up committing at each position.

The Buckeyes really need to get going on the defensive side of the ball. Larry Johnson has yet to sign anyone to his defensive line and Tim Walton and Perry Eliano need a few more bodies in the secondary. Here is our prediction for the rest of the class:
