The Ohio State football program is hitting high gear right now. As far as recruiting is concerned, they are running on full cylinders after hosting some excellent visits this past weekend. This might be the highest level they’ve been functioning at for this entire recruiting cycle.

We told you about how they impressed five-star defensive lineman recruit Edderick Houston. He wasn’t the only one to be impressed by a recent visit. Five-star safety KJ Bolden also had some great things to say about his recent visit to the Ohio State football program.

Bolden is rated as the seventh-best player in the country and the number-one safety. Even though he currently has a prediction to head to Georgia after visiting them a couple of weeks ago, Bolden’s impression of Ohio State can’t be ignored after this weekend.

If the Buckeyes could land both of these guys, that would be massive for the recruiting class. They are also likely adding three more corners to this class as well, so that would improve their recruiting ranking a lot. The Buckeyes would shoot up to at last the second-best class in the country.

Ohio State has gotten some help from their NIL collectives as well. After a rough start, the collectives have really hit their stride in terms of being able to help the program get the best possible recruits and make it so Ohio State is the most attractive option available.

Of course, great recruits don’t guarantee wins on their own. It’s up to the coaches to develop the players and make them even better than they are. If the Buckeyes can get these guys on campus, they can develop them into even greater players. That’s the ultimate goal; getting elite players into the NFL.
