We learned who the Ohio State football team will face in Big Ten play for the next two years. The entire Big Ten slate was revealed. Ohio State will have a much easier schedule in 2024, mainly because of one of the few years where they have an easy non-conference slate.

They certainly don’t have the easiest Big Ten schedule in either of those years though, so they will have to fight to make the Big Ten Championship now that there are no divisions. This might actually help them though since they get to face more of the teams that were in the West.

Looking at the schedules for the next two years, different teams hold the easiest Big Ten schedule each year. In 2024, I think IU actually has the easiest Big Ten schedule. They don’t face Ohio State, Michigan, or USC. It’s too bad they won’t actually contend for the Big Ten Championship.

Of teams that can realistically win the title, I think Penn State actually comes out the best. While they do play Wisconsin, Ohio State, and USC, only Wisconsin is on the road. They have also been recruiting well, so they actually have a real shot to compete for the title.

In 2025, TTUN gets a really easy draw. The only big dogs they face are Ohio State and Penn State and they get them both at home. Unfortunately, that sets up pretty well for the. The Ohio State football team has to take on USC at home and Wisconsin and TTUN on the road. That isn’t easy.

OF course, these schedules are still two and three years down the road. A lot can change with the rosters between now and then. It’s still fun to project at who might have an easier road to a title and who might have to go through a gauntlet.
