Ohio State Football predicted to get four-star cornerback
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team has the second-best recruiting class in the country right now. Most of those recruits are on the defensive side of the ball right now though as just one of their recruits is on defense. That could change very soon based on experts’ predictions.
According to 247Sports, the Buckeyes are now predicted to land four-star cornerback Aaron Scott from Springfield, Ohio. Scott is listed as the seventh-best corner in the country and the second-best corner in the state of Ohio. Scott goes to Springfield High School as well.
Scott stands at 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He has really good ball skills and can make plays. He’s also fast enough to say with receivers on the outside. While he doesn’t weigh a ton right now, he can put on some muscle to help that issue once he reaches a college program.
Scott has offers from some big-time programs. Other than the Ohio State football program, he holds offers from TTUN, Oregon, Notre Dame, Kentucky, and Michigan State just to name a few. Still, Scott is predicted to stay in the state of Ohio with the Buckeyes.
This is despite the fact that Scott has an official visit scheduled with Michigan about a month from now. It doesn’t seem like that visit is going to matter a whole lot. It’s always nice to take away a recruit from TTUN, especially one they are trying to take from the state of Ohio.
The Buckeyes are trying to fix their secondary. Getting good players like Scott would go a long way to doing that. They still have some work to do on the defensive side of the ball when it comes to recruiting, but they are slowly getting there. It’d be nice if they could get that recruiting national championship.
