The 2023 NFL Draft is done after a long weekend of drafting. Most of the undrafted free agents have signed with teams as well. With all of that done, it’s time for us to take a look at the totality of the Draft. Which Buckeye will end up being the biggest steal in the Draft?

In my opinion, that belongs to the Cleveland Browns. The Browns actually ended up getting four Buckeyes on their roster. They drafted two of them and signed two more after the Draft. But the first Buckeye they drafted is the one that could be the biggest steal.

That’s because they got Dawand Jones as a fourth-round pick. Jones was expected to go in the second round by most mock drafts. Instead, he slid all the way down into the third day because of concerns over his weight and his motivation to work hard.

Jone’s talent is undeniable. He only allowed a couple of sacks in his Ohio State football career and is the longest prospect in the draft. His wingspan is quite literally the biggest ever to be measured during the Senior Bowl. He’s huge and moves very well for his size.

Despite the physical skills and great tape, the Browns were able to snag him in the fourth round. Jones should have a chip on his shoulder now. If he does, he could work himself into a starting role by performing well in training camp. He’s that good of a player.

Next. Why does Ohio State keep losing receivers?. dark

I hope that Jones proves all of the teams that passed on him wrong. I hope he shows that he does have the drive to become great and that he can keep his weight under control. If he can do that, he could be a foundational piece of their offensive line for years to come.
