10 Ohio State Football players that TTUN loved to hate the most
By Ryan Stano
2. Chris Olave
No other pass-catcher in Ohio State history has hurt TTUN like Chris Olave hurt them during his four-year Ohio State football career. It started out as a freshman in the 2018 season when he broke out in The Game in the Shoe on both offense and special teams.
Olave only played 7 games as a freshman, but one of those was against TTUN. He had 2 catches for 48 yards and 2 touchdowns. Those were his only two touchdowns up to that point in his career. He also blocked a punt that led to a touchdown as well.
He continued his Michigan killing ways in 2019. In that version of The Game, he had 2 catches for 68 yards and a touchdown. More than that, he had the entire Michigan defense focused on where he was instead of where the other Buckeye receivers were, which helped the offense as a whole.
In the only game he lost to Michigan, he had 7 catches for 88 yards in the 2021 game. The reason why Olave is so high on this list though is because of what he did as a freshman in 2018. He was a nobody who hadn’t done anything up to that point. Then to catch two touchdowns and block a punt when Michigan was trying to make the Playoff? That made every TTUN fan mad!
The final player on this list is a guy that never lost to them and is the greatest Ohio State football player in history.
